With over seven years of practical experience working with Indigenous entrepreneurs, particularly in Ecuador, their research examines the Indigenous entrepreneurial ecosystem and the influence of external actors (public and private). The work critically engages with Western business theories, aiming to expand these frameworks while offering policy recommendations applicable across diverse contexts.
They have contributed as a teaching assistant in courses such as Alternative Economy and Community Resilience, Sustainable Marketing, and Qualitative Methodology. Their research achievements include a publication in the Journal of Business Ethics titled "Iron Cage for Indigenous Entrepreneurs? Understanding the Movement and Impact of External Ideas on Indigenous Entrepreneurship in Ecuador," which explores the dynamics of external influences on Indigenous entrepreneurial practices.
