Elle Simpson is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Whanganui NZ. She is of Ngati Maniapoto descent and the eldest grandchild of Dr. Rongo Wetere, founder of Te Wananga o Aotearoa.

Elle designed and developed this website, and the cover artwork used here, and for the book.

Illustrated by Elle Simpson, the cover artwork blends bold design elements inspired by indigenous artworks around the world, including First Nations, First Peoples, American Indian, and Māori cultures. The artwork represents the collaboration of Indigenous knowledge, building together a brighter future for Indigenous peoples around the world.
