Tshinta Morris

Tshinta Morris is a proud Barkindji and Gamilaroi woman who grew up between Dubbo in Western NSW and Sydney, Australia. She is currently working as an Associate Lecturer as part of the Indigenous Academic Development Program in collaboration with Jumbunna and Transdisciplinary School at the University of Technology (UTS).  

Tshinta recently graduated with a Bachelor of Management from UTS Business School. She is currently pursuing a Master in Transdisciplinary Innovation (Research) with plans to convert to a PhD. Her research explores Indigenous social entrepreneurship and the experiences of First Nations women entrepreneurs.

Before joining UTS, Tshinta had a rich and varied professional journey. She has worked in the fitness industry, the non-for-profit sector, and as a graphic designer. Currently, she is also developing a small business that focuses on digital art and affirmation cards designed to promote well-being.

Tshinta's goal is to make a significant contribution to society through her impactful research and practice.
